I would dissolve the barrier between Mexico, Canada, and America and declare us all to be legitimate citizens of humanity.

I mean it's all just land right? What is a border really? An excuse for a rule? Why should they have to speak English to get a job anywhere? Why should they even feel they have to have a job to be legitimate citizens? Why do they have to be citizens of a place? How about just people? Why should we conxern ourselves so much about them impacting our economic viability when America has more than enough aggregate wealth to allow all Americans and Mexicans live well above the poverty line? The entire debate stems from a fundamental flaw of mankind which is selfishness, and to a lesser extent, pride.
